The AKC Board of Directors has approved the Icelandic Sheepdog to be eligible to compete in
the
Miscellaneous Class Effective July 1, 2008.

Sand Creek Linken who won Best in Show Puppy  at two All Breed Shows in February 2008!

We are excited to announce another UKC Champion at Sand Creek Icelandics  
CH Emerald Isle Tibra
Tibra finished her championship on February 16, 2007.

at the Canyonlands Canine Association UKC Show on 2-15-08!    Yea Tibra a.k.a. Miss T

CH Emerald Isle Tibra who earned her UKC Champion title in February 2008!

We are very proud to announce UKC Champions at Sand Creek Icelandics
CH Sand Creek Mæja    and    CH Vesturhlithar Loki
Both finished their championships on February 18, 2007. Both are sired by our wonderful boy Benni!
Congratulations to
Maeja & Loki who are tied for the Top Icelandic Sheepdog of 2007!

We are very proud of our little girl
Sand Creek Bíbí for winning Best of Opposite Sex  (Best Bitch in Show) at the
Norðvestur Icelandic Sheepdog Chapter's (NISC) July 1st, 2007 Regional Match. The competition was tough,
with 27 Icelandic Sheepdogs from across North American entered! Another great ISD sired by Benni!

We are very proud of
Nor'Star Cilia, CGC who earned her Canine Good Citizen title on June 30th, 2007.
At Sand Creek Icelandics our goal is to breed Icelandic Sheepdogs that are sound both physically and mentally.

We are very proud to announce GRCH Sand Creek Maeja won Best in Show
at the Canyonlands Canine Association Show on Valentines Day 2009.
Maeja is the first Icelandic Sheepdog to win a BIS at a UKC Sanctioned Show.
Maeja is also the first Icelandic Sheepdog to earn the UKC title of Grand Champion.
